Hope Bookmark Crochet Pattern

Alright so I've been thinking about redoing the bookmark in a crochet version with crochet thread.  I didn't think about this until I was going through Pintrest getting all my patterns off there to go into my book...or at least one of them...probably going to have to get multiple books for everything.  While I was pulling stuff I was on Ravelry and noticed that I had some messages and someone had tried to access the original bookmark pattern.  So I fixed it and just finished updating it.  Now the grid that I'm working with on the word document isn't working and I have the grid on excel.  Honestly never though I would do that.  It was easier to visualize it and not having the bookmark with me any more as it was a gift I had to find something to help me out in seeing it.  So here is the graph I have for it...well at least a copy/link to a copy.

Hope Bookmark-Knit Pattern 1 and Updated

Alright so I have included the original pattern for this and the updated version.  Both just here and in a PDF version.

Just a few notes before we get to the patterns.  First you can sell the bookmarks but do not claim the pattern as your own.  I ask you please give me the credit for the creation of it.  The first version was the original one I had shared on my old blog.  Before the name change to Princess Crochet.  You can choose to add the border I added around the first version which was two knit stitches around and one row on the top and bottom of the bookmark.  Please share the finished project with me I have linked my facebook page at the bottom, tweet or instagram me @PrincessCrochet89, or use the hashtag #PCHopeBookmark to show it off to me.

Project works from bottom to top.  Dashes equal color changes.

Updated Version
Still working on the update but just wanted to put a few things here before I got it done.

With this update I am rewriting the pattern and it is turned out to be longer then the original one.  This on also spells out each row with the color changes and I will have two versions posted with the color changes highlighted and one with out for those who print everything in black and white like I do.
